RFID checkout

For Nedap’s new type of checkouts using RFID, effective way to raise inventory accuracy and prevent theft in retail stores, we were asked by our partners at Sintecs to help implement an admin interface to ease the setup and maintenance of these complex systems.

We build the interface used during the initial installation and maintenance of the checkout counters, allowing an admin to configure the checkout system.

When the checkout is up and running, it is possible to keep track of sales using a log file. This contains information like scanned and sold products, but also monitors performance metrics like internet connection and memory usage. After installing we also offer a quick solution to setting up multiple checkouts. The first installed machine offers an installation file with all chosen settings, which can then be copied over to other machines.
